The longtime standard of the darkroom craftsman, the 45MXT chassis has a triangular truss reinforced, twin girder frame which permits the enlarger to produce prints greater than 16"x20" on the baseboard from 35mm film. The 45MXT is the latest in a series of 45M chassis designs, adding a neoprene light seal in the upper negative stage and lens turret capability to its already impressive list of features. Virtually every accessory for the 45MXT will fit every Beseler 45M enlarger manufactured since 1953, thus assuring compatibility with technological advances. Use with the Universal 45 Light Source (#8570-71), or choose between the Dichro 45S Color head (#8278), the Condenser Light Source (#8121) or the 8x10 Conversion Kit (#8350).As with all Beseler 45 enlargers, accepts all Beseler 45 light sources, negative carriers and lens boards. Micro-adjustable motorized elevation control. Easily alignable lens stage. Versatile! Handles all formats through 4"x 5". Unbeatably rugged and rigid triangular truss construction.
